Sakakawea Medical Center
Sakakawea Medical Center is located at 510 Eighth Ave. N.E. in Hazen. It offers a large variety of services ranging from home health care, hospice, 24-hour emergency care, dental, chiropractic, radiology, massage therapy and optometry.
A $1.2 million expansion and renovation of the hospital took place in February 1982. It is now considered a critical access hospital licensed for 25 beds. The center also offers senior suites to 34 residents who would like minimal care but do not need 24-hour assistance.
