Hazen Bay Recreation Area
Hazen Bay Recreation Area is located on Lake Sakakawea, 15 miles north of Hazen, N.D. The park is open all year and campsites are available May through September.
Hazen Bay has 50 campsites available, two cabins and two RV trailers. Lake access, boat ramps, docks, electricity, picnic tables, a fish cleaning station, restrooms, a public telephone, wireless Internet, a playground and grills are available. There is also a convenience store, including gas.
Campsites are available for $7 per night. Sites with electricity are $15 per night. Full hook-up sites are $18 per night. Monthly camping sites are available for $250 per month.
Cabins and RVs are available for rent starting at $40 per night. The cabins sleep five to seven people and include air conditioning, table and chairs and a refrigerator. The RVs have water, electricity, sewer and cooking facilities.
Other activities at the park include boating, fishing, skiing, hiking, skating, ice fishing and more.
